Things are progressing well on our robot. We held a team meeting yesterday and have settled in for the sprint for the finish. The students created the bumpers over the last few days with mentorship from Ms Hlapcic the Fashion teacher, Mr Howard and Mr Brown in the woodshop and Mr Elliott who advised them throughout the process. The bumpers look great.
Our Engineer mentor Brian visted last night and helped with design work and the electronics configuration.
All systems on the robot are now complete except for finalization of some of the elecronic component. We are having a visit on Friday of this week from C.R. Gummow elementary school. We know it will be tight but we are planning for a big finish this weekend, in time for bag and tag day on Feb 21.
